Someone I love dearly was having a difficult day. One of those days that just feels like too much, yet the responsibilities just keep coming.
All I could offer was encouragement, but it didn't feel like much.
We've all been on both sides of this equation. Wishing I could do more to help, I sat down with my guitar and this song came out.
lyrics
Your Kind of Beauty
if night falls before you get there, let it,
log the mikes that you need to and then
forget it
every now and then you will get turned around
you'll stumble till your feet hit upon solid ground,
but, beauty, your kind of beauty
fit this perfectly
when the darkness alongside the highway seems unforgiving,
but, your face in every streetlight then the moonlight,
now, that's the living
love is greater than fear, that we know for sure,
a new day comes resplendent on another shore with
Beauty, your kind of beauty, fits this perfectly
Beauty, your kind of beauty, fit this perfectly
when the darkness alongside the highway seems unforgiving
your face in every streetlight then the moonlight,
now, that's the living
Beauty, your kind of beauty, fit this perfectly
